Bioconductor版本:3.15

高效表示和操作基因组注释和比对的能力在分析高通量测序数据(又称NGS数据)时起着核心作用。GenomicRanges包定义了用于存储和操作基因组间隔和沿着基因组定义的变量的通用容器。在GenomicAlignments和summarizedexexperiment包中分别定义了用于根据参考基因组或类似矩阵的实验摘要来表示和操作短比对的更专门的容器。这两个包都建立在GenomicRanges基础设施之上。
